Here is my you thought I’m not going to make it anymore but HA here I am November favourites post! I traveled back to China last month and the long-haul flights really made me appreciate sheet masks ,eye patches and oh companies that make travel size products,so it’s a travel friendly edition of favourite posts this time 🙂
I got this mini hoola bronzer at the hongkong airport and it’s just so adorable! Tbh I don’t think there is much to say about this Bronzer besides that I actually recommend the mini over the original size for all makeup junkies that already own like 15 different bronzers (I still didn’t “hit the pan” of my 2010 purchased coralista ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ ) and folks that travel a lot, since the bigger box is super clunky.
Now,the mascara.I got the mini when I bought the full size They’re REAL, which I don’t like because it’s really wet and makes my lashes droopy.I just tossed the mini in my on flight makeup bag because I thought better this than no mascara. And OMG, I don’t know what magic it is but the mini works so so soooo much better than the full size one.It lengthens, separates and holds my curl perfectly. I still need someone to explain me the science behind why sample mascaras always work better…Any expert out there?
Ebelin Travel Eyelash Curler
It’s a compact eyelash curler for traveling that I keep in my carry-on make up bag.And it works, maybe not as great as the
regular contraption we all use but hey I’m happy that I don’t have to explain to the airport security team that the weird
suspicious metal thingy is for my lashes and not there to cause harm.
Alternative from sephora and other similar ones are linked in the widget below, since mine was from a limited edition.
Balea Q10 Eye Patches
Whenever my flight is over 5 hours long, I get complications with my eyes. I basically turn into a panda with really bad dark circles and super puffy eyes.Normally it takes 2-3 days for them to get back to normal and nothing really helps, but eye patches definitely reliefs and depuffs. And this one happens to be cheap and doesn’t irritate my eyes.
I still think that cushion compacts are the best solution for traveling and I really like this one from Laneige.I’m by no mean a cushion expert but this one provides decent coverage, gives your skin the right amount of dewy-ness and most importantly the color for once matches my skin tone perfectly!
Do you need a minty color changing lip balm that costs $36 ? No.
Is the packaging to die for? YES. So,decide for yourself.
But if you forget the price tag for a moment…It works very well for me,because of cheilitis exfoliativa
(I’m almost cured/have it under control) my lips are very dry and it also made them lost pigmentation,
so they look kinda greyish :/ and this lip balm is just an easy option for me when I need a little moisture and color in order to not look like a junkie 🙂
This was my favourite out of my entire colourpop purchase! The ultra satin formula is so much more comfortable to wear than the soul sucking drying ultra matte lips!
This palette was the only one that I touched through out this month! I did every single eye make up look with it,even my stage makeup and it worked out great. It was a good purchase for sure.
I also wrote a detailed review ,check it out HERE if you’re interested^^
That’s it for my November favourites 🙂 I wish you a happy countdown week til christmas ♥
